David Miller

David Michael (Mike) Miller, age 53, went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 28, 2008. He was a native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County and a son of the late Floyd Miller and Mairl Pressley. Mike thoroughly enjoyed fishing, cooking and working for the Asheville Fire Department. He loved watching Carolina football and basketball. He is survived by two sons, Logan Miller of Candler, and Tyler Miller of Raleigh; four brothers, Gary Miller and his wife, Annett, of Arden, Jerry Miller, Ronnie Miller and his wife, Lori, and Ben Miller, all of Candler and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 2008 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with Reverend Phillip Hurst officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. At other times, the family will be at the residence of Linda Pruett.
