David Smith

Candler, David Edwin Smith, born January 25, 1951, passed away on April 13, 2013 at age 62 surrounded by his loving family. He was an avid NASCAR fan, loved to fish and loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Edwin. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Libby; his mother Lillian; three sons, Donovan, Tristan and Nathan; his twin brother, Danny (Shirley) and brothers Jim (Leslie) and Rick(Cathy), sister Evelyn(Carl) Green, three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2013 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Michael A. Shuford officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
