David Eugene White

In loving memory of David Eugene White, who entered this world on December 6, 1983, and left us far too soon on October 7, 2024. David was the son of Clarence White and the late Nancy Harwood White. David was a shining light in the lives of those who knew him, touched by his easy-going nature and infectious smile. He was a beloved son, cherished uncle, and a loyal friend who will be profoundly missed.

David poured joy into the simplest moments, whether it was enjoying a warm cup of coffee, gathering with friends around a roaring bonfire, or immersing himself into one of his favorite video games on Xbox. These interests were more than hobbies; they were threads that tied him closer to those he loved. Those evenings spent laughing and sharing stories around the fire will forever resonate in the hearts of his family and friends.

He is survived by his father, Clarence White; nieces, Kelly White, Autumn Thomas, and Angela Surrey Hensley; nephews, John Aaron Hensley and special nephew and caregiver, Justin Hunnicutt and wife Louise, whose unwavering support and love were greatly treasured. He was also supported above and beyond by his caregiver, KeKey.

The family would like you to celebrate David’s life and the beautiful memories you created together with David. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Gospel Tabernacle, located at 16 Brickyard Drive, Asheville, NC 28806. A visitation will be held at 2:00 to 3:00 pm Friday, October 25th at Wells Chapel of Faith located at 1 Chapel of Faith Drive, Candler, NC 28715.
