Dempsey Plemmons

Dempsey Plemmons, 76, of Candler, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2009 at Courtyard Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He was the son of the late James Hardy and Della Smith Plemmons. He was also preceded in death by his wife Lorrie Parton Plemmons.

Dempsey was a loving father and husband who was committed to the happiness of his family and friends.

Survivors include his daughter, Felicia Hyder of Spring Creek, sons, David Plemmons of Asheville, Jeffrey Plemmons of Alexandria, VA, sister, Lucy Chandler of Marshall, brother, Bud Plemmons of Detroit, MI and special friends Freida Burrell and Ken Elliott.

At Dempsey's request no public services will be held.
