Dennis Zander

Waynesville-Dennis Zander, age 70, of Eagles Nest Road, died Saturday, December 1, 2007 at his residence. He was a native of Dayton, OH and lived in Waynesville for the past five years. He was the son of the late Waldo and Margaret Foster Zander. Dennis attended the University of Dayton and worked in special machine design for several different companies. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandra Zander; a daughter, Kristin Akerson and her husband, Brian, of Asheville; two sons, Daniel Zander and his wife, Sabrina, of Somerset, OH and Michael Zander of Hudson, FL; a sister Suzanne Kretzschmar and her husband, John, of Bowling Green, OH; five grandchildren, Gabriella, Lucas, Jacob, Samuel and Nicholas. No public services are planned. A family memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
