Dewitt Warren

Horseshoe- Dewitt Warren died Thursday, March 10, 2005 at Laurels of Green Tree Ridge. He is the son of Lora Littrell Holder of Asheville and the late Dallas Watson Warren. Mr. Warren was also preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Smith Bolinger Warren, who died in 2003. Mr. Warren retired from Dupont in Brevard. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister; Shirley Owenby of Asheville; one niece, Mary Jane Honeycutt of Leicester; three nephews, Robert Owenby and Dallas Owenby both of Asheville and Rex Wyatt of Rock Hill, SC.; two great-nieces, Tiffany Honeycutt of Leicester and Hannah Wyatt of Rock Hill, SC and one great-nephew, Joseph Wyatt of Rock Hill, SC. Funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2005 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Mr. Robert Leon James officiating. Burial will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence of his sister; 157 Druid Drive, Asheville.
