Dexter Morgan

Dexter Lee Morgan, 86, of Asheville, passed away Wednesday, December 07, 2011 at his home. A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Charlie and Nancy Marlow Morgan. Mr. Morgan repaired electric motors for Hayes and Lunsford and served his country in the Navy. He had been a member at Cedar Hill Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Plemmons Morgan; grandson, Jacob Nathaniel Suttles and several siblings.
He is survived by his daughters, Sharon Morgan, Angela Bretz, and husband, Peter, and Beverly Futch, and husband, John; brother, Richard Morgan; sisters, Elsie Norman and Florence Whitaker ; six grandchildren and 2 great grandsons.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 10th in the Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn Chapel of Faith, the Rev. Larry Collins will officiate. The family will receive friends in the chapel one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
