Canton – Diane Queen Justice, 76, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital.
Diane was a native of Haywood County and a daughter of the late William George and Roberta Dorothy Smathers Queen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Dean Justice; a brother, Doug Queen; a brother-in-law, Raymond Palmer; and many aunts and uncles. Diane was a homebody the last thirty years of her life, who enjoyed her cats and dogs, presently Bear and Lady.
She is survived by one son, Jeffrey Mann and his wife, Brenda, of Canton; one sister, Sherry Palmer of Canton; three grandchildren, Jake Mann (Rachel), of Charlotte, Vincent Mann of Canton, and Charmayne Hicks (Austin), of Kentucky; and four great-grandchildren, Orion, Atlas, and Apollo Mann, and Laila Hicks; two nieces, Kelly P. Clark of Fayetteville and Kimberly Palmer; one nephew, Jason Queen (Jill) of Greenville, South Caroline; a sister-in-law, Kathy B. Queen of Canton; and several great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 10, 2021 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
