Diane Pressley

Panther Creek-Diane Arrington Pressley, age 55, of Amos Arrington Road, died Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at her residence. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of D. B. Arrington of Panther Creek and the late Mrs. Bobbie Messer Arrington, who died in 2003. She was a devoted mother and mamaw. Even though Diane had a lot of health issues, she always had a heart for others. Diane had worked at Bi-lo for 18 years, and Ferguson Supply for 7 years. She was a member of Panther Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her father, D.B. Arrington, she is survived by one son, Heath Pressley, and his wife Alicia, of Panther Creek and one daughter, Crissa Fincher, and her husband, John of Greenville, SC and four grandchildren, Paige Fincher, Heath Alan Pressley, Brooks Pressley, and Katelyn Fincher. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Panther Creek Baptist Church with Steve Fincher, Reverend Sherrill Moore and Reverend Ron Greene officiating. Burial will follow in the Panther Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Shaun Messer, Ronnie Hill, John Fincher, Carmen Fincher, Earl Rogers, Joseph Hoglen, Adam Hughes, Ronnie Francis, Neil Brown, Don Ledbetter, Bobby Francis, Clay Diaz, and Jeff Messer. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Panther Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in care of Pearlene Brown, 5140 Panther creed Road, Clyde, NC 28721 or Haywood Regional Medical Center Hospice, 560 Leroy George Drive, Clyde, NC 28721.
