"Doc" Rhinehart

Canton - Bruce Hilliard "Doc" Rhinehart, 81, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals.

A native of Haywood County, he was a son of the late Bass and Emma Galloway Rhinehart. Doc was a United States Army veteran serving in Germany post World War II during the fall of the Iron Curtain and worked as an insurance agent with Western & Southern Insurance Company.

He is survived by one son, Brent S. Rhinehart and his wife, Cynthia Ammons Rhinehart; one sister, Eva Martin, of Atlanta, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Pisgah View Memorial Park with the Reverend Tom Cox officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
