Donald Mccall

Waynesville-Donald Jack McCall, age 52, of 301 Valley View Terrace, died on Thursday, May 19, 2005. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of Robert and Ruth Keener McCall. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Texie Keener. He was co-owner and operator of Hazelwood Transmission and attended Dellwood Baptist Church. He was active in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Program of Haywood County. He is survived in addition to his parents, by his wife of 19 years, Susan Owen McCall; a sister, Shirley Ferguson, and her husband, Sam, of Maggie Valley; a brother, Jerry McCall, and his wife, Jeanne, of Waynesville; four nephews, Jason and Jeremy Ferguson and Christopher and Tyler Morrow; two nieces, Missy and Laura Burgess; three great nieces, Jordan and Jayla Ferguson and Kassidy Price; two great nephews, Caleb Ferguson and also, Andrew Price, who was very special in Donnie and Susan's life. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2005 at Dellwood Baptist Church with Reverend Jason Ledford officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church, and at other times, the family will be at the home of Donnie's parents at 112 Brookside Court in Waynesville. Memorials may be made to ACS Relay for Life Haywood County, 120 Executive Park Drive, Building One, Asheville, NC 28801.
