Waynesville, Donald Wills Randolph, Jr., age 91, of Fox Run Road passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Autumn Care of Waynesville. A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Donald Wills, Sr. and Frances Exum Meares Randolph. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Ledford Randolph. Donald retired from Champion International in public relations. He was a United States Army Airforce veteran serving in WWII and was a longtime member of Canton Central United Methodist Church. Don was extremely dedicated to serving his community and was involved with many organizations and committees including the Haywood County Hospital Board and the Mountain View Housing Board. He is survived by his wife, Elsie Wyckoff Randolph; a daughter, Lisa Fournier and her husband, Joseph, of Cullowhee; a son, Robert Reinhard and his wife, Aimee, of Lawrenceville, Georgia; sister, Frances Ormand of Brevard; brother, Meares Randolph and his wife, Frances "Toddie," of Alexandria, VA; three grandchildren, Susanna Cagle, and Robin and Rebecca Reinhard; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 17, 2010 at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain with Reverend David Christy officiating.
