Donald Wall

Maggie Valley, NC - Donald Wall, age 74, of Wildcat Run, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Macon Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation. A native of Davidson County, Tennessee, he had resided in Gastonia, North Carolina before moving to Haywood County in 2005. He was the son of the late James and Lilla Browning Wall and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Dawn Wall; one son, Dale Edward Wall; five sisters, Mildred Huskey, Ruby Buckner, Evelyn Huskey, Annie Lou Osborne, and Bettie Jean Toombs. He was a US Army veteran and retired with 38 years service from Burlington Industries. Donald enjoyed cheering his Tennessee Volunteer Football Team and the Lady Volunteers Basketball Team. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Pat McClurkan Wall; two sons, Kirk Wall and Todd Fulbright of Maggie Valley; one daughter, Tawny Wall, of Charlotte; two sisters, Myrtle Marie Bland and Earleen Rolman of Tennessee; one brother, James W. Wall, of Georgia; and one grandson, Ethan Heyworth. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date in Maggie Valley. Memorials may be made to CurePSP, 30 E.
