Donna Medford

Donna Davis Medford, age 61, was called home by the Lord on Wednesday, April 23, 2008. A native and resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Georgia Jones Davis. The most important things in Donna's life were her faith and family. Donna was a devoted wife, mother, and follower of Christ. She taught Sunday School at Dutch Cove Baptist Church where she was a member for 35 years. She also taught an in-home Bible study and was a consummate prayer warrior. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Walter Medford of Canton, a son, Brian Medford of Easley, SC; a daughter, Kellee Medford of Canton; and a brother, Edward Davis and his wife, Pam, of Louisville, KY. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2008, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Reverend Ed Lowder officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
