Canton – Doris Aileen Ford Hall, 94, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Arrowhead Cove of Silver Bluff Village.

A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Alvin and Ollie Mae Pope Ford.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Edgar Lee Hall, Jr.; a son, Gary Dale Hall; daughter, Patsy Gail Hall Farmer; granddaughter, Kim Farmer Burnette; grandsons, Russell Brent Hall and Derek Dale Hall.  Aileen was a homemaker who loved to sew and knit for her family and friends.  In her younger years, she worked as a sewing machine operator at Silco in Sylva.

She is survived by her son, Dennie Lee Hall and wife, Doris; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at Bethel Community Cemetery.

The family would also like to express their appreciation for her caregivers at Arrowhead Cove.

Due to COVID-19, masks and social distancing will be observed.
