Doris Miller

Doris Elledge Miller, 78, of Leicester, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017. A native of Asheville, she was the daughter of Floyd and Zennie Brown Elledge. Doris loved shopping, especially at the Flea Market on Saturdays. She was an amazing seamstress and loved spending time in her garden and canning. Her strong will helped her to build a home, raise a family and beat cancer.
She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Allen Elledge; grandson, Jamie Bradley; and dog, Dixie.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, James "Jim" Miller, he will always be thankful for their wonderful marriage; mother, Zennie Arizona Brown Elledge; daughters, Teresa (Ghazi) Rizk and Nadine Clemmons, who will remember their mother's strength and kindness; brother, Carl (Diane) Elledge; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and pets, Patches, Willie and Bo.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, September 18th at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
