Dorothee Leavenworth

Clyde - Dorothee Wells Leavenworth of Candle Light Circle died Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at Beverly Health Care. She was a daughter of the late Alfred and Esther Shaffer Wells and the wife of the late Donald Leavenworth who died in 2002. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Arrington who died in September, 2005. She was born in Carbondale, PA and a graduate of Hardford High School and the Robert Packer School of Nursing, Sayre, PA. She was a member of Canton Presbyterian Church. She is survived by one sister, Maxine Carter of Carbondale, PA; two grandchildren; one great-grandson and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2005 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Beverly Brock officiating. Burial will follow in Bon-A-Venture Cemetery on the Old Clyde Road. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
