Dorothy Brigman

Carolyn Brigman went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 17, 2012, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on May 16, 1939, as one of ten children born to the late William Ira and Virginia Dare Calloway Brigman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hal N. Little, and two sisters, Margaret King and Velva Harwood. She was survived by five devoted children; daughter, Sherrie Rumbough, son and daughter-in-law, Nick and Fran Little, daughter and son-in-law, Kim and David Lee, daughter and son-in-law, Melissia and Ben Brock, son and daughter-in-law, Jody and Sherry Little. Carolyn had ten grandchildren and three great granddaughters, all of whom she was very proud of and loved with her whole heart. Carolyn had a wonderful smile and laughter that could brighten up a room. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and devoted much of her time to her family. She held many positions throughout her career, but the one she loved most was as a caregiver ensuring compassionate care to others. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2012, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Pastor Davis Plemmons officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. prior to the service.
