Dorothy Dorr

Maggie Valley, NC/East Herkimer, NY-Dorothy "Dot" Dorr, age 88, of 112 Raven Ridge, passed away on October 2, 2005 at her residence. A native of East Herkimer, New York, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin H. and Emma Nichols Jones. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Dorr, who died in 2000 and a sister, Edna Jones. Dorothy had a close relationship with God and will be remembered as a loving and caring person. She is survived by a daughter, Sally Herkel, and her husband, Larry, of Waynesville; three grandchildren, Scott Herkel, of Palm Bay, FL, Lori Bales and her finance, Donnie Murphy, and Lisa Frodge, and her husband, Rex, of Austin, TX; and three great grandchildren, Curtis Frodge of TX, and Kaley and Shelby Bales of NC.
