Dorothy White

Candler, Dorothy L. White, age 70 died Sunday, September 6, 2009 at the Laurels of Green Tree Ridge. She was a native of Swain County but had lived most of her life in Buncombe County. She was the daughter of the late William and Alma Tipton and was preceded in death by her husband L. Verner White, a daughter, Rita Moody; son, Doug Vaughn White and an infant sister. Dorothy was of the Baptist faith and worked at American Enka. She is survived by one grandson, Cameron Moody of Candler. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 14, 2009 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Bobby Winebarger officiating.
