Douglas Limeberry

Douglas Lee Limeberry, age 69, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Alvin Raymond and Ella Mae Phillips Limeberry. He was also preceded in death by a son, William Ambrose "Wee Willie" Limeberry who died in 1967 and sisters, Kathleen Sluder, Dinah Wagner, and Patricia Tufts. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his greatest passion was going to the Labor Day Fair in Canton. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nyoka Michales Limeberry, two daughters, Teresa "Pudge" Rumple" and her husband, Kevin, of Candler and Veronica "Sugarbuger" Limeberry and Alex Munjal of Johnson City, Tennessee; two sons, Alvin Douglas "Google" Limeberry and his wife, Cynthia and Ronald Anthony "Dink" Limeberry and his wife, Lisa, of Candler; two sisters, Audrey Owenby and Carol Hannah; a brother, Danny Limeberry; three grandchildren, Douglas Joshua "Bird" Limeberry, Cailin Rochelle "Kay" Nyoka Boldin, and Amanda Lee "Boo Bear" Rumple; a great-granddaughter, Linix Rhian "Snikerdoodle" Cordova Boldin; a special nephew, Alvin Troy "Wheat thin" Michales; and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to in home hospice and a special thanks to Lynnie Barrett with CarePartners. Private graveside services will be held.
