Douglas Wyatt

Waynesville, Douglas Ned Wyatt, 55, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022.

A native of Haywood County, he was a son of Mary Ann Rich Hendrix and the late Ned Wyatt.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susan D. James Wyatt who passed away in 2021.  Doug enjoyed being on the lake, fishing and hunting and making you laugh in a heartbeat and was a Christian man.  He loved his two shih tzu dogs, Bulldozer and Precious, and spending time with his family was very special to him.

Doug is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Hendrix, and her husband, Roger; sister, Audrey Gosnell, and her husband, Michael; special friend Reneé Warren; niece, Breanna Gosnell, and her boyfriend, Tanner; nephews, Jonathan Morrow, and his girlfriend, Laura, Russell Morrow, and his wife, Sarah; great nieces and nephews, Thomas and Piper Morrow, Jayden and Carson Morrow and Clay Strother.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The care of Mr. Wyatt has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
