Drusilla Cutshaw

Waynesville-Drusilla Sheehan Cutshaw, age 88, of 57 Mill Street, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 2, 2005. She was born in Jackson County and lived all her life in Haywood County. She was the daughter of the late Chester and Etta Sheehan. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Clay, Hillard, Talmadge, and Edgar Sheehan. She was a member of Calvary Road Baptist Church and a member of the Senior Women's Sunday School Class. In her earlier years, she worked for Waynesville Laundry, Central Elementary Cafeteria, Haywood Rest Home, and Barberville Day Care. She is survived by her husband, Carl Cutshaw, of 65 years; two daughters, Jeannette Henson and her husband, Ralph, Phyllis Plemmons and her husband, Mike, all of Waynesville; a brother, Lester Sheehan, of Maggie Valley; a sister, Emma Wright of Lake Stevens, Washington; three grandchildren, Bryan Lindsay and his wife, Denise, of Waynesville, Phillip Henson of Atlanta, Georgia, and Michelle Lindsay of Waynesville; three great grandchildren, Cody Lindsay, Dillon Goetzke, and Kane Widlicka, all of Waynesville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at Calvary Road Baptist Church with Reverend T. M. Gibson, Reverend Elbert Deason, and Reverend J. D. Grant officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Wells Funeral Homes, and Cremation Services of Waynesville where the body will remain until placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the service. At other times the family will be at the residence. Serving as pallbearers will be Carroll, David, and Charles Sheehan, Dean, Bobby, Alvin, and Harold Cutshaw, Michael Gaddis, Dwight Sheehan, Joey Moody, John Howard Sheehan, and Dean Sheehan.
