Eddie Walls, age 80, passed away peacefully at his home, on Saturday, December 28, 2024. A native of Haywood County, Eddie was the son of the late Edgar and Ida Rogers Walls. He is also preceded in death by three brothers, Richard, Gene, and Bill Walls.
Eddie served in the Army National Guard and, for 32 years, worked at Dayco. Eddie loved the Lord and was a member of Dellwood Baptist Church. He and his wife, Sharon, owned Beau Monde Salon & Spa. While Sharon ran the salon, Eddie took pride in maintaining the salon, inside and out. The salon staff and guests always loved that he would pop in and out throughout the day, making sure everything was in proper working order and aesthetically pleasing. When Eddie wasn't at the salon, he enjoyed golfing, clogging, Tuscola football, and spending time with his family.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 35 years, Sharon Trammell Walls, two daughters, Haley Pressley (Matt) and Stephanie Messer (James), brother in law, James Trammell, his two sisters, Carolyn Ledford and Mary Ledford, and his loving grandchildren, Madison Pressley, Melissa, Dustin, and Jessica Messer, and two great grandchildren.
While we mourn the loss of such a wonderful man, we rejoice in his healing and rest in the promise of salvation, knowing we will see him again when we get to Heaven.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 2nd at the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home, with Reverend Matt Pressley and Reverend Rick Mehaffey officiating. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Haywood Hospice, 13 Haywood Office Park, Suite 107, Waynesville, 28785.
