Edgar Wyatt

Waynesville, Edgar Louis "Ed" Wyatt, age 66, of Browning Branch Road, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at his residence. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Cling and Pearl Smith Wyatt. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by Leonard and Ned Wyatt. Ed enjoyed fishing, hunting and his work as a carpenter. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sarah Hampton Wyatt; two sons, Davy Wyatt and his wife, Sheila and Daniel Wyatt and his wife, Mary, all of Waynesville; one brother, Clifford Wyatt of Waynesville and a grandson, Austin Wyatt. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Green Hill Cemetery with Reverend Johnnie Passmore officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Roger Hampton, Cody Stiles, Johnnie Passmore, Jeremy Roland, Neal Roland and Filmore Bradley. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
