Edith Capps

Edith T. King Capps, 95, of Canton, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 24, 2018. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Noland and Gracie Keener King.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnsie Carroll Capps, Sr.; son, Johnsie Carroll Capps, Jr.; 1 sister and 3 brothers.
Edith is survived by her daughters, Linda (James) Capps Lester and Patricia (Harold) Capps Smith; 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
Flowers are appreciated or donations may be made to the Homestead Hospice, 127 Sunset Ridge Road, Clyde, NC 28721.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, February 27th in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn, Candler with Paul C. Murdock officiating. The family will receive friends at 12:00pm until the time of service. Burial will follow the service at New Bon-A-Venture Cemetery, Canton.
