Edith Mull

October 15, 1926 — July 13, 2015

Waynesville – Edith Ellen Palmer Mull, age 88, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. A native of Haywood County, Edith was the daughter of the late Charlie and Wilda McElroy Palmer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Dewey Mull, who died in 1991. Edith was also a member of Camp Branch Baptist Church and enjoyed her years as a homemaker. Edith is survived by a daughter, Donna Langston and her husband, Steve, of Greenville, SC; a son, Doug Mull and his wife, Gail, of Canton; a sister, Carolyn Robinson and her husband, Bill, also of Canton; three grandchildren, Barry Mull and his wife, Sheila, Jason Mull and his wife, Heather, and Brook Thomas all of Canton; and four great-grandchildren, Free and Zane Thomas and Zach and Maggie Mull. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2015 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Nicole Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Maple Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Waynesville. Memorials may be made to the Maple Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, P. O. Box 48, Waynesville, NC 28786.
