Canton, Edna Green Bradley, 81, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at CarePartners Hospice Solace Center.
A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Marion and Zannie Burgess Green. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her lifelong companion, Ray Bradley; two brothers, David Hugh Green and O’dell Green. Edna attended The Church of God in Waynesville. She was a private caretaker and enjoyed fishing, gardening, and was an avid flower gardener and loved her dog, Tanner.
Edna is survived by her daughter, Denise Anders, and her husband, Mark; three sons, Dwayne McGaha, and his wife, Betty Jean, Darryle McGaha, and his wife, Gail, and Daniel Bradley; sister, Margie Castillo; brother, Milford Green; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 16, 2022 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Pastor Rodney Morrow officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

The care of Ms. Bradley has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
