Edna Glavich

March 28, 1929 — April 2, 2011

Waynesville, Edna Mae Moore Glavich, age 82, of Rumbling Gap Trail, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Cora Mayfield Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick M. Glavich, who die in 1987; a son, Ronald E. Glavich; two sisters, Debrada Moore and Lavona Rhinehart; and four brothers, Sewell, Brenese, Johnny, and Winston Moore. She is survived by one daughter, Patricia C. Sutton, of Waynesville; two sisters, Shirley Sentelle of Clyde and Carolyn Pressley of Cullowhee; one brother, Paul Moore; three grandchildren, Todd Cothern, Bridgett Edwards, and Brock Glavich; and nine great grandchildren, Kayla and Coleman Cothern, Brittney and Brock Medford, Blake Mills, Faith Edwards, and Eli, Alexis, and Sawyer Glavich. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Eddie Deitz and Reverend Ricky Mason officiating. Burial will be at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times, the family will be at the residence, 115 Rumbling Gap Trail.
