Edna Mcelroy

Edna Roberts McElroy, 89 passed away on February 21, 2014 at Solace Hospice after a full and happy life. Edna was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
She is survived by a devoted husband of 69 years, Lt.Col. Sam M. McElroy (USAF,ret.); daughter Susan and her husband Glenn Michael of Kennesaw, GA; son Daniel R. McElroy and his wife Amy of Aiken, SC; sister, Evelyn Patton; nieces, Leesa Gibbs, Jamie Cole, and Marsha Bailey all of Asheville, NC; grandchildren, Hope Branicki, Aaron Michael, Marshall McElroy and Russell McElroy and great grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth and Andrew Branicki, Gray and Anna Michael.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday March 1st, in the Chapel of Faith, Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn, 1498 Sand Hill Road, Candler, NC 28715. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
