Edwina Reed

Canton – Edwina Ann Reed, age 55, of Pisgah Drive passed away on Monday, November 30, 2015 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of Nancy Cagle Reed of Canton and the late Alton "Nook" Reed. Edwina was a retired teacher assistant with the Haywood County Schools tending the students of North Canton Elementary School and was a member of Crestview Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Glenn Thompson of Canton; a daughter, Tabatha Head Frizzell and her husband, David, of Canton; a sister Kathey Blazer of Canton/Pensacola, Florida; two brothers, Dennis Reed and his wife, Deborah, of Canton and Rickey Reed of Brevard; and two grandchildren, Ebb and Nancy Frizzell and Pensacola, Florida.
