Eileen Knisely

Eileen Garberding Knisely, age 67, a resident of Silver Bluff Nursing Home, died Friday, December 7, 2007. She was born in Chicago, IL and was the daughter of the late Waldo and Alma Holman Garberding. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Patrick and Timothy Kennedy. She was employed as a home housekeeper and she enjoyed knitting and making Afghan rugs. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ronald Joseph Knisely of Clyde, 1 step-daughter, Sheryl Hill and husband ED of New York Mills, NY, three step-sons Ronald Knisely and his wife Paula of Waterville, NY, Gregory Knisely of Illion, NY and Gary Knisely and his wife Michelle of West Winfield, NY, two sisters Lori Lewis and her husband William of Bean Station, TN and Eloise Benson of Libertyville, IL, two brothers Gerald Garberding and his wife Jenny of Libertyville, IL and Phillip Garberding his wife Sheila of Grays Lake, IL and 9 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at the Canton chapel of Wells Funeral Homes. Reverend W. W. McNeill will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 90 Stiles Road, Canton, NC 28716.
