Elaine Ensley

Elaine Alice Ensley, of Candler, went to be with the Lord on February 7th, 2013. Another angel went home as she passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, James and Ronald Rush and sisters, Estelle Marr, Juanita Evans, and Alvina Rush and great-granddaughter, Michelle Lee Ensley.

Surviving her is her loving husband of 64 years, James Richard Ensley, a son, Thomas Ensley and daughter-in-law Vickie Ensley of Candler; a daughter, Sharon Gates and son-in-law, Robert Gates of Tampa, FL; two grandchildren, Jason Ensley of Canton and Anniece Banks of Candler; three great
grandchildren, Miceala Ensley, Landon Ensley and Austin Banks; sister, Elnora Peterson of Candler and brother LaVerne Rush of Sylva.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, February 10th in Chapel of Faith, Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn with Pastor Diane Johnston officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Montmorenci United Methodist Church, PO Box 610, Candler, NC 28715 or UNC.TV.org, Life Changing Television.
