Eleanor Cogdill Hunt, age 74, of Newfound Street died Sunday, May 20, 2007, at her residence. She was a native of Buncombe County and the daughter of the late Wallace and Sarah Chapman Cogdill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Jesse Lindsey Hunt, who died in 1996. She retired in 1991 from Candler General Hospital in Savannah, GA as a risk manager with 13 years of service. She leaves behind her cat, J C, her constant companion. Eleanor would like to make a special recognition to Jo Ann and Larry King as well as Peggy and Joe Swink, the best neighbors that one could have. She is survived by a son, Mike Camp and his wife, Jan, of Lake Logan; a daughter, Susan Camp and her life partner, Ilene Fox, of Brockton, MA, a half-brother, Fulmer Chapman and his wife, Jean, of Anaheim, CA; a half-sister, Anne Chapman of Asheville; two aunts, Evelyn Brown of Asheville and Faye Chapman of Canton; a grandson, Joshua Camp; two step-grandchildren, Eddie Burris and his wife, Anita, and Heath Burris; and one step great-grandson, Jesse Burris. Private graveside services will be held. The family would love to visit with family and friends at the residence on Thursday, May 24, beginning at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Haywood Animal Welfare Association, P.
