Elizabeth Ballard

Elizabeth Kelley Ballard, 91, of Asheville passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021, at John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native of Walhalla, SC, she was daughter of the late Carrie Kelley Rogers. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Eugene Ballard in December 2020.

Mrs. Ballard was the vice president of Emma Bus Lines prior to her retirement.

She is survived by her sons, Terry Lane Ballard of Nashville, TN and Jeff Lynne Ballard of Asheville, NC and her beloved family in Walhalla, SC

A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 1 Chapel of Faith Drive, Candler, NC.  Reverend Travis Holmes, her nephew, will officiate.
