Elizabeth Hilliard

Waynesville, Penelope Elizabeth Curry Hilliard, age 90, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2011 at her residence. A native of Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late George Brinton McClellan Curry and Agnes Alma Davis Curry and was also preceded in death by a brother, G.B. McClellan Curry. Due to her husband's employment with the oil industry, Penelope spent a majority of her married life in the Middle East. Penelope enjoyed shopping and traveling the world during her lifetime. She also enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Caldwell and her husband, Raymond, of Waynesville; two sons, J. P. Stuart Smyth and his wife, Nancy, of Denver, Colorado and Christopher B. Smyth and his wife, Eileen, of Ponte Verde Beach, Florida; five grandsons, Clell and Woodje Caldwell, and Zachery, Ian, and Charles Smyth; two great grandsons, Bailey and Orin Caldwell; and one great granddaughter, Isabell Smyth.
