Elizabeth Kuykendall

"1929 – 2015" Canton – Elizabeth Hannah Kuykendall, age 85, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. A native of Macon County, she was a daughter of the late Andy and Naomi Sisk Hannah. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orin Henry Kuykendall, who died in 1987, and three brothers, Walter, Mack, and Jack Hannah. Elizabeth had been an active member of the Canton Senior Citizens Center, her church, and was also an accomplished seamstress. She is survived by a daughter, Ginger Hill and her husband, Jerry, of Smithfield, Virginia; two brothers, Earl Hannah of Canton, and Dennis Hannah of Waynesville; two grandchildren, Scott Andrew Hill and his wife, Olivia, and Karen Elizabeth Hill; and three great-grandsons, Garrett, Gage, and Gannon Hill. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 2, 2015 at Sunny Point Baptist Church with the Reverend Shannon O'Riley and Reverend James Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery, Old Clyde Road. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Wells Funeral Home of Canton.
