Elizabeth Lott

Waynesville, NC, Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Miller Lott, age 80, of 101 Strollers Lane, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2010 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Brooklyn, New York, she had lived in the town of Baldwin on Long Island and later resided in Jupiter, Florida before moving to Haywood County in 2006. She was the daughter of the late Francis and Dorothy Gill Miller and was also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Miller and a sister, Dorothy Brock. Betty enjoyed golfing and fishing with her husband, and also enjoyed crafts and cake decorating. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Raymond Francis Lott; a daughter, Patricia Ann Haynes and her husband, Robert, of Jonesborough, Tennessee; a sister, Christine Griffin, of Raleigh, NC; a brother, Jack Miller of Bloomingdale, Georgia; three grandchildren, Dawn Elizabeth Bagley, Kimberly Ann Strunk, and Raymond Francis Geary; and six great grandchildren, Corey, Timothy, Elizabeth, and Abraham Strunk and Austin and Hunter Bagley. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 4, 2010 at Life Church, 601 Westwood Circle, Waynesville. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
