Ella Donaldson

Ella Moore Donaldson, age 84, died Saturday, September 15, 2007, at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. She was a resident of Haywood County for 60 years and the daughter of the late William Henry and Elizabeth Whitmire Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Donaldson, who died in 1993. During World War II, Ella worked in Washington, DC, as a civilian employee with the U.S. Navy, and also worked at Champion International. She is survived by her son, Ron Keith Donaldson and his wife, Wanda, of Canton; two sisters, Annette Garber of Franklin and Elizabeth Donaldson of Knoxville; two brothers, John Moore of Franklin and Bobby K. Moore of Canton; three grandchildren, Daniel Donaldson, Aaron Donaldson and Laura Campbell, all of Canton, and three great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Darrell Webb officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 prior at Wells Funeral Home of Canton.
