Ella Fisher

"Loving Wife and Mother"

Clyde, North Carolina, Ella Ethelyene Silver Fisher, age 83, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home.

A native of Yancey County, North Carolina, Ella was the daughter of the late James Vernon and Gladys Ray Silver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, of 62 years, Richard "Ken" Fisher, who died in 2016. Ella and her husband, Ken owned and worked together at the Garden Patch Grocery in Orange Park, Florida and at Kencorp Insurance Agency in Clyde. Ella enjoyed crocheting, needle point and tending her flowers.

Ella is survived by one daughter, Brenda Yeakey, of Augusta, South Carolina; son, Dr. Richard K. Fisher, Jr. and his wife, Dr. Susan Fisher, of Cleveland, Tennessee; sister, Mona Seibert, of Clyde; and nine grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018 Socrum Cemetery at Bethel Baptist Church, Lakeland, Florida.
