Waynesville, Ella Mae Leopard Maney, 99, passed away, Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Autumn Care of Waynesville. A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Ransom and Amy Stiwinter Leopard. She is also preceded in death by Williard McKinley Maney who passed in 2000, a son Harold Maney and a son-in-law Mike Bolden.
Ella was employed by Dayco as a belt stamper for 37 years. She attended Old Pathways Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, canning and camping. But most of all Ella enjoyed her family.
Left to cherish her memory is one daughter, Sharion Bolden; one son, Dennis Maney (Debbie); four grandchildren, Jeremy Bolden (Sarah), Danny Maney (Crystal), Dwayne Taylor (Kerri) and Jeremy Taylor (Jennifer); along with six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2024, at the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Philip Wyatt officiating. Interment will follow at Garrett Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
