Ella Roach

Canton, Ella Anna Roach, 99, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017 at The Homestead. A native of Miami, Florida, she was a former resident of Ocala, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Rosser and Anna Hampus Savage and was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Roach, who died in 1998; a son, Clyde Roach; and a great-grandson, Kevin Roach. Ella enjoyed doing crafts, decorating her home and entertaining family. Ella is survived by three daughters, Harriet Paulding of Hollywood, Florida, Marie Carlson (Dennis), of Canton, North Carolina and Irene Cappa of Hayesville, North Carlina; a brother, Herbert Savage (Emily), of Marco Island, Florida; eight grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren. The gathering of family and friends in celebration of her life will be held at the home of Dennis and Marie Carlson on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
