Ella Sanford

Ella Frady Hall Sanford, age 85, died Sunday, November 5, 2006, at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Anderson, SC, she had resided in Haywood County most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Frank L. and Ollie Belle Benfield Frady and was also preceded in death by her first husband, Branson B. "Brant" Hall, who died in 1990, her second husband, Robert W. Sanford, who died in 2005; a son, Reverend Douglas W. Hall; a sister, Louise Able; and a brother, Clyde Frady; and a step-grandson, Shane Milner. She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Hall Worley and her husband, Joe Carroll, of Canton; a son, Ernest W. "Shorty" Hall and his wife, Juanita, of Canton; two sisters Ruth Stuart and her husband, George, and Bobbie Green Moss and her husband, Don, all of Canton; eight grandchildren, Vickie Hall Wright and her husband, Jerry, Brian Bart Hall, Kristie Hall Lowe and her husband, Jimmy, Rick Worley and his wife, Kerrie, Janet Trantham and her husband, Rick, Martin Hall and his wife, Laurie, Darrin Hall and his wife, Betsy, and Joy Rich; twenty-one great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and nine step-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2006, at the Canton chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Ed Lowder and Reverend J. D. Grant officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
