"In Loving Memory" Clyde – Elsie Henline Farmer, age 95, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Madison County, she was a daughter of the late Jasper Melvin and Bertha Keener Henline. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Annie Watson; and two brothers, Troy and Carl Henline. Elsie was a talented seamstress and enjoyed quilting, crocheting and needlework of all kinds. One of her quilts was awarded a blue ribbon of which she was proud. Her career as a secretary in the health care industry brought her much joy. Elsie adored her family and will be missed by them all. She was a member of Louisa Chapel United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Joyce Farmer Keever and her husband, Michael, of Hickory, and Barbara Farmer Long and her husband, Dale, of Leauge City, Texas; one son, James Stephen Farmer of Clyde; one brother, Melvin Henline of Lake Junaluska; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 5, 2015 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Dan Gaddy officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Louisa Chapel United Methodist Church, P.O.
