Enloe Mull

September 28, 1918 — September 11, 2005

Enloe Charles Mull, age 86, of 817 Oakdale Road, died Sunday, September 11, 2005 at his residence. He was a native of Jackson County and had resided in Haywood County most of his life. He was the son of the late Rufus W. and Vadie Huffman Mull. He was a United States World War II Army veteran serving in the 11th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion. He retired from Champion International with 30 years of service. In addition to his wife of 59 years, Mildred Grasty Mull, he is survived by three daughters, Hazel Heatherly and her husband, Paul, Linda Conner and her husband, Johnny, and Margie Carver and her husband, Steve, all of Waynesville; a son, Jerry Mull of Clyde; nine grandchildren, Derek Heatherly of Winston-Salem, Michael Conard of Canton, Todd Conner of Waynesville, Lea Mull of Hickory, Angie Kee of Chester, SC, Jeff Mull of Waynesville, Shane Robinson of GA and Doug Duncan of Charlotte; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2005 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend G. W. Jameson officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park with military graveside rites. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Haywood Regional Medical Center Hospice, 560 Leroy George Drive, Clyde, NC 28721.
