Ernest Carver

Lake Junaluska, Ernest Reeves Carver, age 81, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at The Homestead. Born in Haywood County on September 23, 1932, to the late Ernest H. and Rebecca Reeves Carver, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Carver, who died in 2010 and a sister, Rebecca Sue DeHart. Ernest was a US Army veteran and a lifetime member of Long's Chapel United Methodist Church He is survived by three nephews, three nieces, three great-nieces and one great-nephew, all of Waynesville as well as beloved friends, Ann Ray and Robert Lee Carver. No services are planned. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice, The Homestead, 127 Sunset Ridge, Clyde, NC 28721.
