Esther Pendergast

Esther Slocomb Pendergast, age 79, died Thursday, March 16, 2006 at Autumn Care Nursing Home. She was a native of Billerica, MA and had resided in Haywood County since 1984 and was the daughter of the late Caleb E. and Maude Burnham Slocomb. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Pendergast, who died in 1984. She was a pediatric nurse and a member of St. Margaret's Catholic Church. Private services will be held.
