Ethel Buchanan

Waynesville- Ethel McKee Buchanan age 76 of 1166 Allens Creek Road died Saturday February 26, 2005 at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Cortland and Trula Griffith McKee and had been a resident of Waynesville for the last 50 years. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, William "Bud" Buchanan; two daughters, Gloria B. Marsh and her husband Phil of Camden, SC and Beth "Babbie" Mangum and her husband Dwayne of Charleston, SC; one son, Tim Buchanan and his wife Dawn of Waynesville; three sisters, Mary Powers and Julia Overmyer both of Culver, Indiana and Anna Belle Fisher of Bremen, Indiana; two brothers, Don McKee of Nappanee, Indiana and Vern B. McKee of Culver, Indiana; six grandchildren, Billy Marsh of Travelers Rest, SC; Dawn Marsh of Camden, SC, Amanda and Andrea Mangum both of Charleston, SC and Rachel and Sara Buchanan both of Waynesville. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2005 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services with the Reverend Sam Snyder and Reverend Eddie Dietz officiating. Burial will follow in the Buchanan Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. At other times the family will be at the residence.
