Ethel Morgan

Ethel Lee Buchanan "Aunt Et" Morgan, age 96, died Friday, February 06, 2009 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Jackson County, she was a daughter of the late John C. and Florence Wilde Buchanan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vester "Vet" Morgan, who died in 1960; a brother, Guy Buchanan; and a sister, Isabelle Cabe. Ethel Lee was a member of West Canton Baptist Church. She is survived by two sisters, Jonnie Hall and her husband, Vaughn, of Canton and Martha Crisp of the Savannah Community of Sylva; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2009 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Steadman and Mr. Orville Haskett officiating. Burial will follow at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery on Old Clyde Road. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
