Eugenia Ford

Waynesville-Eugenia Maude Corban Ford, age 90, of 100 Silver Bluff Drive, Canton, died Sunday, November 10, 2002 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

She was a native of Fayette, Mississippi and was the daughter of the late Marvin Whitfield and Bessie Beam Corban. She was the wife of the late Warwick S. Ford.

She received her Master's Degree from Louisiana State University. She was a teacher with the Louisiana School for the Deaf and retired after 50 years of service. She was a member of Galloway Memorial United Methodist Church in Jackson, Mississippi.

She is survived by two sisters, Mary C. Hossley, of Waynesville, NC, Catherine C. Therkildson, of Washingon, Mississippi; one brother, William C. Corban, of New Orleans, Louisiana; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and burial will be held in Mississippi. Wells Funeral Home in Waynesville is in charge of local arrangements.
